About us

The chains have had this for years. You should too.

A Panera knows exactly who came in last month and what they bought. The bakery two doors down doesn’t — not because the owner doesn’t care, but because nobody ever sold her the tools at a price that made sense, then stayed to set them up.

Why we started

TODO: Placeholder. The real version goes here — where you grew up, which shop on Woodward you’ve been going to for twenty years, and the specific moment you watched a good owner get taken apart by a bad vendor.

The pattern we kept seeing: a great shop with a website from 2016, a Google listing with the wrong hours, and a delivery app quietly keeping thirty cents on the dollar. Meanwhile five different vendors each had a login, an invoice, and a support email that took a week.

None of that is a technology problem. Every one of those tools exists and most of them are cheap. The problem is that nobody drives out, sets them up, trains the person who actually works the counter, and then picks up the phone in February when something breaks.

So that’s the company. One subscription instead of five. Hardware we own and maintain instead of hardware you buy. A flat fee instead of a cut of your sales. And a number that a person answers.

TODO: the founder should rewrite this section in their own words — it’s the page people read before they call.

How we work

Four things we won’t do.

We won’t take a cut of your sales.

Flat monthly fee, forever. The moment we make more when you sell more, we start optimizing for the wrong thing — and you’ve already got delivery apps doing that.

We won’t sell you a POS.

You have one and it’s probably fine. We work on top of Square, Toast and Clover. Any vendor whose first move is ripping out your register is selling you a register.

We won’t hold your data hostage.

Your customer list, your reviews, your domain, your photos. Exported on request, in normal formats, whether you’re staying or leaving.

We won’t put you through a call center.

You get a number and the name of the person who installed your gear. If you can drive to us in twenty minutes, we can drive to you.

In the field

What an install day looks like.

Illustrated for now. Real photos from the first installs replace these.

Illustration of two digital menu screens mounted above a bakery counter
Menu screens going up over the counter
Illustration of a waitlist tablet on a host stand showing a queue of parties
Host-stand tablet, Saturday service
Illustration of a kitchen rail printer with an order ticket feeding out
Rail printer on the pass
Illustration of a dining room before opening, chairs still up on the tables
Training the crew before open
TODO: swap all four for real photography from the first installs — a mounted menu screen, the host-stand tablet in use, a rail printer mid-service, and the crew before open. Drop the JPGs in src/assets/img/ and change the `src` values below; the layout takes any 4:5 image.
