Privacy policy

Short version: we collect what we need to call you back and run the services you pay us for. We don’t sell it. You can have it deleted by asking.

What we collect from this website

When you fill in the demo form: your name, your shop’s name and city, the kind of shop you run, your phone number, when you’d like to be called, and optionally your email and a message.

Our analytics counts page views and which buttons get clicked. It does not use cookies, does not follow you to other websites, and does not build a profile of you. Because of that, this site sets no cookies and shows no cookie banner.

Why we collect it

To call you back about your request, and to work out whether we’re a fit for your shop. That’s it. We do not add form submissions to a marketing list.

How long we keep it

Demo requests: 24 months, then deleted. If you tell us you’re not interested, we delete it within 30 days and keep only enough to remember not to contact you again.

Who else sees it

Nobody outside TOVA, except the vendors we need to run the business — a phone carrier, an email provider, a payment processor if you become a customer. They’re bound to use it only for that. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.

Your customers’ data, if you become a customer

Your customer list belongs to you, not to us. We process it on your behalf to run your texting, loyalty and ordering. You can export it at any time in a standard spreadsheet.

If you leave, we hand over the data and delete our copies within 30 days. We never sell it, rent it, or use it for another shop.

Text messages

We only text people who gave express written consent. Every campaign carries opt-out instructions, and STOP works immediately and permanently. See the SMS terms for detail.

Your choices

Ask us for a copy of what we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — call (947) 270-7612 or email hello@tova.ovh and we’ll do it within 30 days.

TODO: Confirm with counsel which state privacy statutes apply to your customer base. Michigan has no comprehensive consumer privacy act as of this writing; if you take customers in states that do, this section needs to say so.

Children

This site is for business owners. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we’ll change the date at the top. If the change is significant and you’re a customer, we’ll tell you directly rather than hoping you re-read the page.
