Texting & loyalty

Tonight’s special, sent to 800 regulars at 4:15.

Email gets opened by one person in five. A text gets read in about ninety seconds, by nearly everybody. That’s the whole argument — the hard part is doing it legally and not writing it yourself every week.

Why it matters

What it actually does for you.

We write it and we send it

One campaign a month, written for your shop, in your voice, timed to when people actually decide where to eat. You approve it by text if you want to. Most owners stop bothering after a while.

The list builds itself

Sign-ups come from the waitlist tablet, the online order page, the punch card, and a sign on the counter. Every one is a real opt-in you can prove.

A punch card people actually keep

It lives in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet — no app to download, nothing to lose in a coat pocket. Tenth coffee free, or whatever you want it to be.

How it works

Three steps, and we do two of them.

  1. We register your number for business texting

10DLC registration, brand and campaign filings, the whole thing. Skip it and carriers quietly drop your messages — this is why most shops’ texts never arrive.

  2. We build the list the right way

Express written consent, clear disclosure, STOP and HELP wired up. Your list, your asset, exportable any time.

  3. Campaigns go out; you watch the room fill

Monthly campaign, plus the automations running quietly underneath: win-back at 60 days, birthday offer, post-visit review request.

“Snow day in February, kitchen’s staffed, dining room’s empty. One text at four o’clock and we did a normal Tuesday.”

Questions

Questions owners ask about this one

Is text marketing legal? I’ve heard about lawsuits.

It’s legal with express written consent, and the lawsuits are real — TCPA claims run $500 to $1,500 per message. That is exactly why we handle the consent language, the opt-out handling, and the record-keeping ourselves rather than handing you a tool and wishing you luck. This isn’t legal advice; if you want your attorney to review our setup, we’ll send them everything.

What’s 10DLC and do I care?

It’s the registration that tells carriers your business texts are legitimate. Unregistered messages get filtered out silently — you pay to send them and nobody receives them. We file it for you as part of setup.

What happens to my list if I leave?

You take it. It’s your customer list, not ours. We export it in a normal spreadsheet, and we don’t keep a copy or sell it to anyone.

What if I go over 500 texts in a month?

You add a pack — $19 for 250 more, $29 for 500, or $49 for 1,000, billed on the same invoice. Packs roll over and stay good for 12 months from purchase. Your monthly 500 reset each month and don’t carry over. We’ll tell you before you get there, not after.

How often should I text people?

Two to four times a month is the sweet spot for most shops. More than weekly and your opt-outs climb. We watch that number and tell you when to ease off.
